A native to West Texas and its unending influences, my story begins in Plainview, a small rural town where cotton is king. I graduated in 1997 from Plainview High School and spent the next 4 years at West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas where I received a Master’s degree in Accounting. Accounting is a family thing, so the day after graduation, I embarked on a quest to conquer that world with my father who has a firm in Plainview, Lubbock and Odessa. The next 5 years were filled with steep learning curves, ten key calculators and tools that would prove to be extremely valuable when transitioning to my own private financial services firm. During all this, I married my high school sweetheart, Meredith. She is the best decision I have ever made. We have four boys so you can imagine the circus of everyday life. Brennon is an expert lego builder, Lincoln is the new Beethoven and loves to read, Hogan is non-stop fun and Sutton will win you over with laughter. We go and do just about anything manly that you can think of. But don’t feel sorry for Meredith, she is and will always be Queen Bee. I am extremely active in the community. My favorite community involvement includes helping foster kids who have not found a forever home. We help mentor and connect them with others in the community to put them on a successful path. I love church, little league baseball, golf, fishing and anything else that puts me in the middle of my family.
